This is a Mitsumi SR243T1 internal slim CD-ROM drive with a white front bezel. It uses the older PATA / IDE / ATAPI interface and is suitable for compatible legacy laptops, desktops, industrial PCs and retro computer systems that require an IDE optical drive.
The SR243T1 is a 24x CD-ROM drive designed for reading CD media. It is ideal as a replacement for a faulty or missing optical drive in older systems where SATA drives are not compatible.

Compatibility
This drive is designed for systems that support slimline PATA / IDE / ATAPI optical drives. It may be suitable for older laptops, small form factor desktops, Fujitsu-Siemens systems, industrial computers and retro PCs using the correct IDE optical drive connector.
Important: This is not a SATA drive. Please check your existing optical drive interface, connector type, bezel shape and mounting arrangement before ordering. Some older systems may require a specific adapter, caddy, cable or bracket, which is not included unless shown or stated separately.

- Next Working Day Delivery: Order before 1pm (Mon–Fri). Orders placed on Saturday/Sunday will be dispatched Monday for delivery Tuesday.
Please note: Saturdays, Sundays, and Bank Holidays are not counted as working days. Delivery may take longer for remote areas such as the Scottish Highlands and Northern Ireland. Next Day service is not guaranteed in these areas.
International Delivery

- Most orders arrive within a few days (excluding customs processing).
- Orders are dispatched Monday–Friday only.

EU Deliveries – Post-Brexit
From 1 January 2021, goods shipped from the UK to the EU may incur additional duties, taxes, and higher shipping costs.
- We ship under DAP (Delivery at Place) Incoterm – customs fees and import charges are paid by the recipient.
- When your order arrives, the courier will contact you to settle charges before delivery.
- If charges are refused and goods return to us, we may refund the order minus delivery fees and re-processing costs.
