You can adjust fan behavior using additional software as per below:

iMac users who tweak their systems using 3rd party hard disks or solid state disks, are often surprised by an unpleasant aftermath: an annoyingly noisy hard disk fan. Fan management in Apple systems relies on temperatures reported by the SMC system. The SMC collects data from external sensors or by reading the internal hard disk temperature in a proprietary manner. Sometimes reusing the external sensor is not possible or, as in more recent generations of iMacs, replacing the original hard disk breaks the system’s temperature monitoring. In both cases the SMC system tends to go into frenzy and drive you mad with a loud fan.

SSD Fan Control puts you in control. It enables you to overrule the automatic fan control and manually configure the fan speed. The core of the system is a daemon that runs in the background and takes care of the fan management. Whenever the SMC system resets to its default, SSD Fan Control takes over again to make sure that your system remains quiet. Aside of this daemon, SSD Fan Control features a user-friendly application for monitoring and control.

Where is my Windows 10 product key?

Certificate of Authenticity (COA) sticker with a 25-character product key is located on the device. The labels are located in slightly different locations, including inside the battery compartment or on the bottom of the computer depending on which system type you own, example picture

COA sticker may contain the concealment panel which consists of a small clear label with removable silver scratch-off material that has been applied to conceal a portion of the 25-characters of the product key. Please use a finger nail to gently scratch the silver surface off. Do not try peel off the small clear label.

To play DVD you need to install app which support DVD, you can check Microsoft store or get freeware one which is called "VLC player" - please Google it.

Check the signal strength. To improve the signal: we suggest moving the USB WiFi adapter to one of the front USB ports, which may improve the signal, otherwise you may need to purchase a WiFi extender to improve the signal. Another suggestion is to move the router closer to your computer or use an Ethernet connection. If the signal is correct - reinstall the WiFi adapter drivers and restart all network devices, including the router.

We will be happy to refund an item if you change your mind within 30 days of receipt. Product need to be return in exact same condition as was supplied.

If you would like to get a refund, you are responsible for the safe return of the product. It is always better to return the product in the same packaging used by us.

Returns will take approximately 7 working days to process once the goods have arrived.

Battery unable to charge

Our T&C of sale explain the warranty does not cover used batteries although we do guarantee that it will hold at least one hour's charge. We will replace batteries which do not meet this criteria if reported within one week of receipt and the battery supplied is returned. Batteries are considered as consumable items - as they are expected to degrade over time.

If you still within 7 days, please open "New Ticket", otherwise we would recommend to buy a battery replacement as we do not supply batteries.

Touchpad not working on HP laptop

The tiny area indicated with an arrow here is actually the switch for turning off the touch pad. Tapping here switches the touch pad off, after which, a dim amber light glows to let you know.

A tiny dot in the upper right corner is actually a sensor for switching the touch pad off. Double-tapping brings up an onscreen indicator that tells you the touch pad is disabled, and the tiny dot on the pad lights up with an amber glow. It's a handy feature, but if you're using the laptop in a bright room, the indicator light is easy to miss, and it might lead novice users to wonder why the pad suddenly stopped working.

WHAT IS COVERED? In the event of your PC hardware developing a fault you can return it for repair or replacement (or equivalent).

WHAT IS NOT COVERED?

- Normal wear and tear of Product use
- Misuse, lack of care, mishandling, accident, abuse or other abnormal use
- Use of the Product other than for its intended purpose
- Damage caused by improper or unauthorized repair or maintenance
- Product that has been modified or altered
- Software issues (any problems associated with software – whether bundled or installed by user, file corruption, internet setup etc.)
- Accidental damage like breaking the screen or spilling liquid on it. You would need insurance cover for this.
- Used batteries, although we do guarantee that it will hold at least one hour's charge. We will replace batteries which do not meet these criteria if reported within one week of receipt and the battery supplied is returned. Batteries are considered as consumable items - as they are expected to degrade over time. Some may require replacement.

All item carries Return to Base Warranty. This means "You the Customer" are responsible for sending the item back to us where product should be insured and should have courier tracking number.

Warranty returns will take approximately 7-14 working days to process once the goods have arrived (on rare occasions may take a bit longer due to work load). Any device returned under warranty is factory reset as part of the repair process. MicroDream is not responsible for the damage to or loss of any programs, data, or removable storage media during the repair process.

7. On the initial setup screen, enter your language and other preferences, and then select Next . If you're not seeing the setup screen, your PC might not be set up to boot from a drive. Check your PC manufacturer's website for info on how to change your PC's boot order, and then try again.
8. Select Install now .
9. On the Enter the product key to activate Windows page, enter a product key if you have one. If you upgraded to Windows 10 for free or bought and activated Windows 10 from the Windows Store, select Skip and Windows will automatically activate later. 10. On the License terms page, select I accept the license terms (if you agree to them), then select Next .

What if I have damaged the first five numbers of the product key?

You will need to provide picture of the damaged COA sticker. Please "Add New Ticket" and attach picture of the COA sticker. After verification of the picture and if found that product key is non readable you will need to peel off sticker gently and post back to us. COA sticker need to be removed from PC case in one piece, you may consider to use air gun or iron with cloth for easy removal.

Recovery option in Windows 10

Reset your PC

Please locate your product key first.

Do not try peel off or scratch the small clear transparent label. Please use a finger nail to gently scratch the silver surface off - start from the middle, not from the edge.

- Select the Start button, then select Settings > Update & security > Activation
- Select Change product key, and then enter the 25-character product key.

If you still unable to activate you might have mistyped your product key. Try retyping it.

Windows product keys are limited to the following lists of valid and invalid product key characters;

Acceptable characters:
Numbers : 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9
Letters : B, C, D, F, G, H, J, K, M, P, Q, R, T, V, W, X, Y

Unacceptable characters:
Numbers : 1, 5, 0
Letters : A, E, I, L, O, S, U, Z

Attempting to enter any unacceptable characters, during product key entry, may result in an error
