Fan management in Apple systems relies on temperatures reported by the SMC system. The SMC collects data from external sensors or by reading the internal hard disk temperature in a proprietary manner. Sometimes reusing the external sensor is not possible or, as in more recent generations of iMacs, replacing the original hard disk breaks the system’s temperature monitoring.  In both cases the SMC system tends to go into frenzy and drive you mad with a loud fan. SSD Fan Control puts you in control. It enables you to overrule the automatic fan control and manually configure the fan speed. The core of the system is a daemon that runs in the background and takes care of the fan management. Whenever the SMC system resets to its default, SSD Fan Control takes over again to make sure that your system remains quiet. Certificate of Authenticity (COA) sticker with a 25-character product key is located on the device. The labels are located in slightly different locations, including inside the battery compartment or on the bottom of the computer depending on which system type you own, example picture COA sticker may contain the concealment panel which consists of a small clear label with removable silver scratch-off material that has been applied to conceal a portion of the 25-characters of the product key.  Please use a finger nail to gently scratch the silver surface off. Do not try peel off the small clear label.

Intermittent WiFi

Check the signal strength. To improve the signal: we suggest moving the USB WiFi adapter to one of the front USB ports, which may improve the signal, otherwise you may need to purchase a WiFi extender to improve the signal. Another suggestion is to move the router closer to your computer or use an Ethernet connection. If the signal is correct - reinstall the WiFi adapter drivers and restart all network devices, including the router.

Battery unable to charge

Our T&C of sale explain the warranty does not cover used batteries although we do guarantee that it will hold at least one hour's charge. We will replace batteries which do not meet this criteria if reported within one week of receipt and the battery supplied is returned. Batteries are considered as consumable items - as they are expected to degrade over time. If you still within 7 days, please open "New Ticket", otherwise we would recommend to buy a battery replacement as we do not supply batteries.

Touchpad not working on HP laptop

On the Enter the product key to activate Windows page, enter a product key if you have one. What if I have damaged the first five numbers of the product key?

You will need to provide picture of the damaged COA sticker. Please "Add New Ticket" and attach picture of the COA sticker. After verification of the picture and if found that product key is non readable you will need to peel off sticker gently and post back to us. COA sticker need to be removed from PC case in one piece, you may consider to use air gun or iron with cloth for easy removal.

If you still unable to activate you might have mistyped your product key. Try retyping it.
